Today was our big drive to Colorado. We slept in (a common theme) and broke camp and hit the road by 9:00. We stopped in Dubois Wyoming for gas and then again in Lander Wyoming for some delicious fast food. Is it just me or is McDonalds better in America?
After lunch we headed to Rawlings Wyoming and got there around 3:00. The whole day we were listening to an Audiobook by Steven King, Blaze. It was very good and we nearly finished it when we go to Colorado. We didn't make to many stops and the day was pretty uneventful. We finally made it to our AirBnB in Denver and unpacked.
We went to Ted's Montana Steakhouse in downtown Denver for a nice dinner. Sam had a steak and I had a bison chopped steak meal. We both had some craft lager, Pretzel Assasin, which was very good and we explored downtown for a bit before heading to bed. On our way back we were treated to a beautiful and silent Colorado lightning storm. This was also my first time using Uber!
