Lindeman/Flora Lakes Loop + Flora Peak - August 5th-7th

I've done Greendrop lake camping a few times but never went to Flora lake and I wanted to go tag Flora peak as well so I decided to convince the family to do the loop and hit the summit as well.
Friday after work we headed up and camped at Lindeman. In the AM we slept in, packed up and didn't start hiking till ~11. Made quick work of the portion to Greendrop before taking the turn off to Flora.
Eventually we made it to Flora lake and it was quite nice, I rate this lake higher than Greendrop but not as pretty as Lindeman. We had the entire lake to ourselves and we didn't see a soul the whole time we were there.

Sunday morning we plodded up to Flora pass, ditched our packs and went to the peak. This area is AWESOME. Absolutely stunning 360 views and an amazing sub-alpine setting. On our way down we saw the first of a few groups coming up from the trailhead.

The way down was the usual, painful on the legs, but the first couple hundred metres descent is very beautiful as you traverse wide open meadow like terrain. Once you're back in the woods its uneventful though.

Overall I don't think I'll do the loop again and I don't think I would even reccomend going down to Flora lake unless you're absolutely desparate to see it. I probably would do just Flora Peak and I highly recommend it. It is very rewarding for the effort.
